Tapkeshwar Shiv temple is a natural cave that is situated near the Tons River. This cave is also famous as 'Dron Cave' because Guru Dronacharya did 'Tapasya' here.

There is a Swayambhu Shivling inside the cave on which water drops fall naturally and regularly. That’s why this Shiv temple called Tapkeshwar. Around the temple, greenery, river, and springs make this place naturally beautiful. Read more

Santala Devi Temple (Santaurgarh)


Santala Devi Mandir is a very popular and ancient hilltop temple of Dehradun. The temple is also famous as the Santora Devi temple among the devotees. The Santala Devi temple is situated in the village of Jahariwala.

Temple is situated at the hilltop and at the bottom of the hill there is a very beautiful River Nun which makes it a very beautiful location for the tourist who comes to visit this temple. Santala Devi temple is at about 2083 m in height.

Mahamaya Maa Bala Sundari Mandir

One of the popular temples of Maa Bala Sundari is situated at Sudhowala in Dehardun. This temple is situated inside the lush green dense forest which is approximately 3.5 km from Sudhowala in the South-West direction. Mahamaya Bala Sundari is an infant state of Goddess Vaishno Devi.  

This temple is considered as Sidh Peeth Mandir of Maa Bala Sundari and it is believed it a very old temple and the actual Pindi form of Maa Bala Sundari is in the small old temple where devotees go for worship since time immemorial. Read more

Shri Balaji Dham


Shri Balaji Dham or Shri Siddh Hanuman Mandir is situated at national highway 72, Jhajra, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This temple was established by Baba Ram Kishan Das Barfani in Jhajra in the year 1957. Balaji is a very famous name of Hindu God Hanuman. Balaji's name is famous in north India. 

Balaji means Baal Hanuman or the childhood form of Lord Hanuman Ji. There is the main statue of Shri Balaji, Bhairav Baba, and Shri Pretraj Sarkar is established in the Shri Balaji Dham. Other than these God, Lord Shiva, Shivling, Lord Vishnu, Radha Krishna, Durga Mata, Lord Shani, etc statue also there. Read more
