It is situated on the Haridwar-Rishikesh Road near the Doiwala under the flyover. It is about 17 km far away from the Dehradun railway station. You can reach there directly by Dehradun city bus, Vikram and Auto. Using your vehicle will be more convenient for you.

This place is famous for bird watching, here you can see lots of migratory birds that attract animal lovers.

Here you can do trekking and can see the Mussoorie hills from here.

Devotees of Maa Santala come here for wish fulfillment. After a wish fulfilled by Maa Santala, devotees offer small animals like Cock, Goat to Maa Santala. Then they cut these animals near the riverside area and eat them with family and friends. There is no direct bus available for Santala Devi temple you have to take your own vehicle or book a cab.
