Lohia Park is actually a memorial park that was built about 13 years ago. Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav has founded the Lohiya Park stone on the 12th of October 2004.

To dedicate this park to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Lohia Park was built by the Uttar Pradesh government in 2007 during the Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav Party was ruling in Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was the famous political leader of Samajwad (socialist). After starting this park, its beauty and facilities have more increased for the visitors who come to visit this place.

These dates are related to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia's birth and death. On 23 March 1910, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia was born in Faizabad. On 12th October, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia has death anniversaries. He died on 12th October 1967.

Private Auto takes only 25/ rupees per person from the Charbagh railway station to Lohia Park Chowk. Lohia Park has two entry gates, the second entry gate is situated near the Lohia Chowk and you can easily reach in one minute from the Lohia square to Lohia Park entry gate.

Tourists or travelers can reach here easily from any point of Lucknow. From Lucknow Polytechnic lots of buses and taxies available for Lohia Park. To date there is no Lucknow metro route is developed here so there is no metro train stoppage here.
